Nairobi gubernatorial debate between the two rival contenders nearly turned a show of shame after UDA’s candidate Johnson Sakaja turned away simple questions from the journalist

Sakaja who turned up during the debate very late failed to apologise to the interviewers and the audience for coming late than the stipulated time for them which was to start at 20:00PM-9.30PM

It’s a move that was termed as a show of arrogance and braggadocio to the people of Nairobi who has the final say to the holder of Nairobi City County’s top seat

Things turned worse when Azimio’s candidate Polycarp Igathe alluded that the person contesting for Nairobi seat on UDA is not the Sakaja on the podium but a different person.

“Your name is not the Sakaja who went to school, Sakaja is someone else, can you prove to the country your real name because we know who you are,” Igathe blasted

On questioning the revelations, KTN’s Zubeida Koome took the issue to dig deeper from the ‘Sakaja’ but failed to answer her arrogantly saying that he would answer her the way he wants

Zubeida: is your names Sakaja?
Sakaja: Is your name Zubeida?
Zubeida: I’m the one asking the questions.
Sakaja: If you ask unnecessary questions I give you unnecessary answer!
Zubeida: Just tell us if your name is Sakaja
Sakaja: Who did you invite?
Zudeida:Muda wako umeisha

These, and other attacking to his opponent left every viewer wondering whether he means well for the global city on earth

On the academic fiasco, Sakaja maintained that he was qualified to run for governor, stating that he was ready to make available his degree from Team University to the public for scrutiny.

“I have a degree and in fact, I would want to display it today for all of you to see it. I don’t know how you will be able to verify it but the competent authorities institutions that have to verify it have actually said that its correct,” he noted
