While presenting the budget estimates for the 2023/24 fiscal year, Treasury CS Njuguna Ndung’u said universal healthcare is on top of the government’s key agenda

He announced a KSh 141.3 billion allocation has been proposed for the health sector. Among the specifics considered in the allocation is the Kenya Covid-19 Emergency Response Project which will take up KSh 3.7 billion of the monies.
