Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has alleged that one of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition’s principal faked sickness by presenting himself in Nairobi Hospital to avoid protests

In a scathing and ironical attack to the opposition members, Gachagua noted that the opposition leaders failed to participate in the demonstrations after they saw government was ready to combat them

Mbona wasitume watoto wao? Gachagua asked

He fired shorts at ODM leader Raila Odinga and Wiper Democratic Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka for not forcing their children to participate in the anti government protests

“We want to tell mzee wa maandamano, there is no shortcut to the leadership, the only sure path is through the ballot.

He further sought the church leaders and international community to stop forcing President William Ruto to dialogue with the opposition leader whom he termed as ‘criminal’

“I want to ask church leaders and international community not to force our very good President His Excellency William Ruto to sit and negotiate with a criminal, that can not happen in our government, Kenyans voted for one President and let him serve until after five years when we shall have another General Elections,”
