- Deputy President William Ruto has refuted claims of impeaching President Uhuru Kenyatta from office
- Speaking at Mombasa & Kilifi on Sunday, 27th March 2022, Ruto said that he participated fully in the formation og jubilee government and there is no way he could plan to overturn it
“I am not a fool, drunkard or a mad man to help put together a government and then go behind to destabilise it.
“I want to tell my boss (Uhuru) that we campaigned together, we got elected together, formulated government together, you must be confusing me with kitendawili man, the person known for going against kenyan constitution,” Ruto stated
In his charm offensive, Ruto termed President’s allegations as unfounded meant to create rift between him and the people of Mt Kenya region
“To those spreading the propaganda: Shame on you! Shame! You deserve nothing but shame!,” He exclaimed
On his part, Tharaka Nithi senator Kithure Kindiki said the claims are unfortunate and propaganda that can not be trusted
“Every Jubilee supporter from the Mt knows very well how DP supported you in the 2017 general elections and October Presidential rerun
Kwale governer salim mvurya on the same podium castigated the Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga saying the next government will be formed by their side

Controversial Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa also took swipe with the President Uhuru Kenyatta saying he needs to mind about the kenyans who supports their alliance’s boss
