Section of former politicians drawn from Ukambani region now demands President William Ruto to reinstate former CS Penina Malonza
Charged by her enemies, they pleaded with the Head of State to avoid listening adversaries’ advise against the hardworking gracious lady
Malonza was dismissed amidst GenZs countrywide protests where some politicians from the turf home believed to have snitched sinister motive at the apex hill
Former Kitui Rural Member of Parliament Charles Nyamai has pleaded with His Excellency President William Ruto to move swiftly and reinstate immediate CS for East African Community, ASALs and Regional Development Hon Peninah Malonza into a state Job for the benefit of UDA party in Kitui and Ukambani.
Speaking on Saturday 31st August, during the luncheon ceremony at the CS’s home in Kitui South, Charles Nyamai said that during Hon Malonza’s brief stint as Cabinet Secretary, the ruling party, UDA, enjoyed a massive growth in Kitui County and Ukambani thanks to her senior ranking position in the Government.
Nyamai who was and doubles up as EAC affairs advisor and regional development, stated that Malonza’s devotion coupled with her zeal of selling the Government’s agenda for Ukambani and her follower’s concerted efforts in selling UDA Party agenda on weekly basis made the party grow unreservedly in their grassroots
He added that the former CS served with loyalty, commitment and hardwork to the government and the people of Kenya, a testimony that if not reinstated, will result to damaging the reputation of the ruling party
Nyamai’s words were echoed by several former Members of County Assembly, where the host [Antony John-Mutha Ward] shot a warning message to the President William Ruto to reappoint the immediate former CS in a government position

“Ruto, alikuwa ameeka ladha kwa chama yake ya UDA Ukambani, minus Penina Malonza, huyu hapa ladha itakuwa imepotea.

Other former MCAs and aspirants including Mbaki Mbaki, James Munuve, Jeremiah Mumo Kisangau who eyes to be Kanziko Ward MCA, Joyce Miriam and John Munyao all unanimously endorsed Malonza to be reappointed by President Ruto, failure to which, the UDA party will totally be depleted in lower eastern region
