Raila Opposition Leader Raila Odinga has cleared Sh 600,000  Hospital depost bill of 3 Million for Mau Mau veteran Brigadier Jonh Kiboko struggling to pay Sh3 Million 

Raila offered an extended hand as a  Mau Mau veteran son of a whopping Ksh600,000 to family of Mau Mau Brigadier John Kiboko to help with his hospital bill

The family has been struggling with the with the bill in hospital 

The family members were, however, grateful to the opposition leader, Raila Odinga, who offered them Ksh600,000 to clear the deposit fee.

Maina Kiambati, the son of the freedom fighter, lamented that they were struggling to settle part of the bill accrued since Kiboko’s admission.

The family also praised the association of the descendants of the Mau Mau war veterans for swiftly taking the ailing brigadier to the hospital.

“He has been in hospital for about four weeks, and no government official has offered help. We want to plead with the government to help us settle the bill totaling millions. 

“Even if they will not come and visit him in the hospital, we will appreciate the financial help as we have done all we could,” Kiambati pleaded, adding that the veteran was responding well to treatment but could not be discharged. 

Further, the family revealed that the Mau Mau fighter fell ill after attending the burial of the late Field Marshal Mukami Kimathi on May 13
