Uhuru Wishes State House Staffs Goodbye

President Uhuru Kenyatta has today organized an official farewell party  to all State House Staff as he nears to exit from the powerful office after ten years tenure of Presidency 

Speaking at State House during an interfaith prayer, President accompanied by first lady Margaret Kenyatta expressed happiness to his servants whom have supported him to deliver some of the functions to wananchi  

He thanked all his employees for the support they have accorded him in carrying out national duties as the Head of State

“On my behalf, the First Lady, we are grateful to all of you, all departments of State House, for our excellent collaboration.” We will miss you all and cherish our memories of working together in the service of the nation.

Uhuru also, appraised his staff for creating an enabling environment that allowed him to deliver his agenda to the country.

Uhuru, who is set to retire after the August General Elections, urged those who will remain at State House to support the incoming administration and serve diligently with the same commitment and dedication to keep the country on forward.

He also challenged those who will remain in corporate with the new administration to achieve even more.

All staff from all State Houses and State Lodges attended the interfaith prayer service, which was led by State House Comptroller Mr. Kinuthia Mbugua and Chief of Staff from the Office of the First Lady Ms. Constance Gikonyo.

The Interfaith Prayer was led by African Inland Church (AIC) Bishop Abraham Mulwa from Pipeline Branch , who thanked the President in his sermon for his steadfast commitment to serving the nation.

Senior government officials in attendance included Cabinet Secretary Prof Margaret Kobia, Head of Public Service Dr. Joseph Kinyua, and Nairobi Metropolitan Service Director General Mohamed Badi, among others.
