So far, we have recorded five statements after our investigations led to the suspects. We are still trailing more to establish the motives behind this alleged abduction and torture because that is not the work of security agents. Whoever is involved will face the law, “Kanja warned.

“The said MP was aware of the impeding arrests following ODPP warrant but he escaped police dragnet and used motorbike. We intercepted his vehicle only to find his driver and body guard, they were interrogated at DCI headquarters and later released, only to resurface with claims of abduction and torture, ” he added
According to NPS, the MP will be interrogated thoroughly after seeking permission and consent from his family. The move which has been called off by the opposition leaders
Led by Kalonzo Musyoka, former AG and CS Justin Muturi, Eugene Wamalwa, Mithika Linturi, all dismissed remarks from some quarters terming them insensitive
They have demanded the sincerity of the security agents and have some sort of empathy over the legislator’s life which is hanging on the balance
