“We regret to inform you that a section of the Nairobi Expressway toll services has been temporarily halted at Mlolongo, Syokimau and SGR Toll Stations due to the ongoing demonstrations,” read part of a statement by Moja Expressway, a company managing the Nairobi Expressway.

With the intense of today’s demonstrations, Raila cancelled Kamukunji rally on Wednesday, citing intelligence reports that armed pro-government thugs would shoot at attendees
“Late last night, we received intelligence reports that heinous reports of a most heinous plan by Kenya Kwanza to ferry armed goons who would attack peaceful attendees at our rally at Kamukunji.
