Oral presentation, submission of memoranda begins over CBC

Presidential Working Party on Education Reforms has notified the general public on the dates of commencement of receiving views to amend or do away with the competence based curriculum syllabus

In a document seen by safinews.co.ke on Wednesday 26th October, signed by PWPER chairperson Prof Raphael Manavu is that the hearing of the written memoranda and oral presentations will be received for a period of five days across the country

“It is notified for the general information of the public that pursuant to Article 10(2)a) and 232(1)(d) of the Constitution, the Presidential Working Party on Education Reform has scheduled public engagement forums in the 47 Counties of the Republic of Kenya.

The Working Party teams shall accordingly be visiting and available to receive views from various stakeholders at the dates, times and venues listed in the Schedule below.   All Public engagements in the Counties will be conducted from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. in the venues shown.,” Part of the statement read.

Kwale, Taita Taveta, Marsabit, Nyadarua, Nakuru, Samburu, Turkana,Kericho, Busia, Migori and Mandera will be on Tuesday 1st, November 2022 at different halls

Mombasa, Makueni, Nyeri, Homa Bay, Bungoma, Nyamira, Elgeyo Marakwet will be on Friday 4th, November 2022

Kilifi, Kitui, Kirinyaga, Bomet, Kakamega, Trans Nzoia and Kisii will be on Monday 7th, November 2022

Meru, Garrissa and Baringo will be on Tuesday 8th, November 2022 as well as Lamu, Embu, Muranga, West Pokot, Nandi, Narok and Siaya

Tana River, Machakos, Tharaka Nithi, Kiambu Uasin Gishu, Kajiando, Vihiga, Kisumu, Nyeri, Nairobi and Nakuru are also mapped out
