The Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party leader Raila Odinga has warned African Nations about growing international monopoly capital

Speaking on Thursday, October 6, during the launch of a book at the National Museum of Kenya, Nairobi, Raila regretted those true African democrats who believed in Africa were not using African wealth for the benefit of the African people.

“The international monopoly capital is not comfortable. So when we talk about making Kenya a manufacturing hub to supply the whole Eastern and Southern regions, those people are not happy with you. That is not a language they don’t want to hear,” said Raila.

He exuded confidence that there were various solutions to these hiccups.

“I can assure you that there is a solution to this. Stooges have been used to block all these, but if one option doesn’t work, the other will work, and we know what will work. That is why we are saying that comrades, there is still work to do,” he said

Raila, the African Union (AU) High Representative for Infrastructure Development accused the international monopoly capital of what he termed as blocking the beneficiation and value addition to raw materials

‘’They are keen to ensure that we don’t export port aluminum products, copper, and steel coffee seeds, among others. We cannot remain forever servants of international monopoly capital. Africans must rise up,” Raila explained

Raila, further added that what happened in Kenya’s electoral system cant happen in United States of America, Australia, United Kingdom, and Americas.

”It is only in Kenya where the chairman of electoral agency can differ with bigger part of the commissioners and is left alone, then all of a sudden, he announces the results and the judges terms him as an hero,” Raila underlined.

This comes barely after recent remarks from Tanzanian politician Selemani Said Bungara (Bwege) who previously confessed that the African continent needs Raila Odinga now more than ever
