National Police Service Commission says it will not reinstate police guards to Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala
The commission says the senator who is contesting for Kakamega gubernatorial seat will remain without security after he was captured demeaning police officers
NPSC on Sunday 29th May, said his apologies were unsatisfactorily after he laughed forces wrongly following the remarks he made over police officer’s qualifications
Malala spoke on Tuesday 24th May, at a political rally at Khwisero, held that jobs in the National Police Services should be a preserve for school dropouts and other academic failures
According to the senator, the disciplined services do not need highly qualified personnel owing to the unsophisticated nature of the job description therein
Malala urged the incoming government to allow school dropouts into the police service
“Candidates, who have passed their national examinations, get admission into universities and other tertiary institutions as those failed and dropped out join the police service,”. He charged during the rally.
Sentiments which were yet again dismissed by police spokesperson Bruno Shioso and urged police officers to ignore such outrageous, unwarranted and scandalizing utterances as they treat them with the utter contempt that they deserve
