North Eastern leaders have unanimously endorsed ODM party leader Raila Odinga to run for the president in the forthcoming general elections on August 9th, 2022
Speaking at Bomas of Kenya on Wednesday 23, March, 2022, Odinga said his government will deliver Kenyans from excessive public debts and create employment for millions youths across the country
He added that he will reduce the cost of basic commodities and implement social welfare programs to the families affected by droughts and poverty.
Raila assured hundreds of UPIA party members that Azimio coalition will relieve citizens from higher taxation and sort out corruption menace once and for all, adding that he’s the best to make every sector stable
The UPIA party led by their national Chairman, the Cabinet Secretary for National Treasury Ukur Yattan said they have signed a memorandum of understanding between the Jubilee party and that of UPIA to work together
“Today we mark a very important day, as leaders from northern Kenya, we shall collaborate with the ruling party for the good of our people.
” We have gotten many national appointments through President Uhuru Kenyatta and we have assurity that Raila Odinga will maintain the pace,” Yattan said
The leaders said their party under Jubilee will work with all like minded leaders in Azimio to campaign for Raila in northern counties Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir and Garrisa to ensure he gets ninety percent of their registered voters by August 9th, 2022.
