The MCA was reported to have been abducted by unknown assailants on Enterprise Road in Makadara Constituency, at 9 pm using a Landcruiser Prado and since then, his whereabouts remain a mystery.

Keynan reinstated his earlier position on Sunday that, as leaders together with the family of the missing MCA, they have tried every effort to locate the MCA with initial claims that he had been found at Uriri Hospital in Migori County, a claim that could not be verified.

While pushing for the authorities to produce the MCA, Mandera East Lawmaker Hussein Weytan condemned the incident asking President William Ruto to walk the talk which he sore during the inauguration to uphold and protect the constitution of Kenya

He reminisced him that Kenyans had higher expectations when he declared no extra judicial killings will happen under his watch and even releasing three people who had been abducted so the same extension should include to the missing county legislator

“As leaders from the Northern Kenya, we shall not accept our members to be treated in a such manner. We demand the release of Honourable Member, he should be taken to court to answer any allegations or any wrongdoing levelled against him instead of holding him incommunicado.

He’s a family man, he’s children and relatives who depend on him. Why should you hold someone for more than 24 hours without communicating to his or her family? This itself is a criminal behaviour!  Has Kenya turned to be a Banana Republican? We want these answers to be answered by those perpetrating this heinous act!,”. Waytan charged

The Members of Parliament as well as the Senators from the three frontier counties left the indelible demand that unless the MCA is brought back to join his family, they will do everything humanly possible even if it’s reporting the matter to international criminal justice systems so as to make sure that his whereabouts are traced
