Speaking during the exercise at Kanguu market, Ngilu reiterated her commitment to end land disputes and injustices through land adjudication and titling in every corner of the county.
“The rich have been using their financial muscle to deprive the needy of their ancestral land but today marks the end of land injustices in Kenze,” announced the county boss.
She commended President Uhuru Kenyatta and his administration for their invaluable cooperation and support in processing of the title deeds.
On matters politics, Ngilu said that she was firmly in the race for Kitui’s top seat in the forthcoming elections and warned her opponents to brace for a grueling contest.
“I know they have been spreading rumors that I won’t defend my seat for they are afraid of facing me at the ballot but their efforts are futile. I will send them home very early in the morning on August 9th,” affirmed the Narc Leader.
She as well intensified vote-hunt for Azimio La Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga terming him the best bet for Kambas to be in the next national government.
She added: “It is now evident for all and sundry that Raila will succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta after the August national polls. That’s why we have to rally behind him as he prepares to form the next government.”
The elated wananchi (citizens) thanked the governor for fulfilling her promise to grant them land rights and unanimously endorsed her bid for a second term at the helm of Kitui County.
