City Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has cracked netizens ribs by urging the newly appointed National Intelligence Service boss Noordin Haji to report to President William Ruto about the large migration of cabinet secretaries to Karen’s palatial home
In his Twitter account on Saturday 17th, Abdullahi termed the migration as a security threat involving Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries from Kenya Kwanza Government moving from their old homes and apartments to Karen
“The most urgent national security issue the new NIS Boss Noordin Haji must advise H.E President William Ruto is the security threat posed by the large migration of Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries to Karen,” He revealed
Abdullahi also disclosed that the said senior government officers are occupying a newly built gated communities that has saw fight ensue between a member of parliament and a cabinet secretary
“In some instances, you will find 4 to 5 of them[CSs and PSs] in the same compound….(of course I’m not bothered by how one who was domiciled in syokimau 8 months ago can afford a $3 million house in Karen,” He posed
This comes on a backdrop after the Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection Florence Bore and Gatanga Member of Parliament Edward Muriu were involved in browel
The two warring parties are said to be fighting over a mansion nestled within the prestigious Amara Ridge by Cytonn investment, an exclusive gated community in the superb Karen neighbourhood
The clash unfolded when MP Muriru, who recently purchased the luxuries house alleged that CS Bore had forcefully occupied the property valued at a staggering Ksh 120 million
Speaking to the media, the MP’s wife expressed her shocker upon discovering a heavy presence of security at their Karen residence when she’d landed from her daughter’s graduation in United States of America
The incident occurred when they had sent a contractor to carry out cleaning duties at the mansion
Astonishingly, the contractor was allegedly manhandled and denied access to the premises, which CS Bore had already taken over and ordered security officers to be on standby of any ‘intruder’.
But, according to the MP’s wife, alleged that there was nor formal agreement or transaction regarding the property
This has made netizens to flock in the internet asking one billion dolar questions how the CSs and PSs have acquired huge amounts within a spern of eight months, contrary to government’s narratives that the country is broke
