Thirty Police Officers attached to the former First Lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta’s homes have been withdrawn and orderd to report back to Gatundu Police Station
According to the information reaching newsroom is that, Mama Ngina’s Homes in Muthaiga and Kiambu were left unguarded in anticipation of alleged peaceful procession
Sources have intimated safinews.co.ke that she has been left with only eight officers manning her with her premises remaining with no security officers
Government had warned the funders of the opposition’s countrywide demonstrations and pointed figures at the first family of being involved led by retired former President Uhuru Kenyatta
However, Mama Ngina has accused the President William Ruto’s led administration for not informing her of the gravious decision which is staring her life into panic
Early this year, Ruto accused the former First Lady of tax evasion threatening to take on all family related tax dues owed for the government since immemorial
Ngina on the other hand, fumed against the current government and denied the claims noting that she has been honourably paying all government dues
“If there is any tax obligations which anyone knows that I have not been remetting to the relevant institutions they should tell me how much will pay, as far as am concerned we have been paying taxes like any other Kenyans,” She was quoted by then.
This comes when the government has closed all schools in major cities including Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu
Government has arraigned fears of tomorrow’s countrywide demonstrations warning school going children to keep off from schools as they deal with the protesters
Earlier in the day a group calling itself Nairobi traders wrote to the OCS Muthaiga Police Station, notifying him/her that they will hold demonstrations at Mama Ngina’s home in Muthaiga.
Then this evening, police officers guarding Mama Ngina’s Muthaiga and Gatundu homes have been withdrawn.
