The Service Party Leader Mwangi Kiunjuri has been on campaign trial popularizing his bid for Laikipia East Member of Parliament

Speaking on Tuesday 31st May, at Nanyuki town market, Kiunjuri said small scale traders are the key drivers of the  economy in Laikipia East.

However, he said that, “trader’s growth has been hindered by myriad of challenges and constraints which  include inadequate capital, limited market access and poor infrastructure,”.

He spoke in the company of Wa Dayana for Women Rep, Hon. Kiama for Senate, Hon. Kagiri MCA Thingithu, Hon Ngunjiri MCA Nanyuki and P. Waigwa where they  discussed and agreed on a number of measures to improve their working conditions.

“We shall deliver on this promise because we believe in servant leadership,” He added

It’s well noting that, Kiunjuri have had a  bromance with President Uhuru Kenyatta since 2013 before falling out to Deputy President William Ruto

It’s the said political allegiance that costed his agriculture cabinet secretary, a move that occasioned to the formation of his political party, bravely to face off Jubilee party tactically under Ruto’s blessings

All cards crossed, seemingly, Kiunjuri is now on separate path after recently faulted Kenya Kwanza Coalition luminaries for championing six piece vote from Mt Kenya region

Kiunjuri dismissed Kenya Kwanza Alliance supporting the six-piece vote call, saying they were not speaking for the outfit’s presidential flag bearer, Deputy President William Ruto

He said until Dr Ruto pronounces himself on the matter, any other talk by any other leader in the alliance was inconsequential.

“Everybody has a right to their opinion but unless the statement comes from the Deputy President himself we will take them head on,” Mr Kiunjuri said at his party offices in Nairobi.

Mr Kiunjuri has since ditched supporting Kenya Kwanza Coalition presidential candidate and declared to concentrate on his campaigns as he warns Mt Kenya voters to make wise decision in August polls General Election
