THE GRAND CORONATION OF KAWIRA MWANGAZA, GOVERNOR MERU COUNTY

Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti urged Senate to save Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza from impeachment accusing Meru MCAs for destabilising her leadership

Cabinet Secretary for Public Service Moses Kuria also stated his support to Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza accusing some powerful individuals in Mt Kenya

The author who is a scholar [from Meru Intellectuals Club] points accusing fingers to MCAs who are hell-bent to tarnish Kawira’s name just because she embraces her husband in public forums

Kawira Mwangaza’s lackadaisical journey to the top and the immense support she’s received from her husband Murega Baichu, from their nascent humble beginning, is inspirational.

Garnering over 220, 000 votes  as a woman without backing of any political party in the last General Election, to floor an Harvard University Alumni, Kiraitu Murungi and leave Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi, smarting after the loss, in the Meru Gubernatorial race, is not a walk in the park.

People are looking down upon the Meru First Gentleman because of his humble status. Money or lack of it.

Why hide your handsome husband in public affairs?

Governor Susan Kihika of Nakuru County is also doing the same.

Proud of our modern day powerful women.

Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta governed Kenya with First Lady Margaret on his side and no qualms among Kenyans.

President William Ruto has now First Lady Rachael on his side and his Deputy Riggy G is strutting the whole country like a colossus, his beautiful Bishopric Wife on tow.

Kawira is a moving example to all other women. Love and adore your spouse, his financial status and other material trappings, notwithstanding.

Kawira with the immeasurable support of her husband have worked together for her to capture the Meru Gubernatorial Seat.

It’s only natural and befitting that Baichu be accorded the title’ First Gentleman’ with all its trappings of power.

For those who care to know, the couple has always worked together  even on their ‘okolea missions’.

Kawira says  the MCAs in Meru County were asking for 5 Million shillings, jobs and Contracts from the County new sheriff before they could pass the County budget and consider her nominees to the cabinet ……man  eat man society…

Members of County Assembly are notorious and known for insatiable greed, countrywide.

They have to eat to make peace. Governor Waiguru’s survival tactics in Kirinyaga County are telling. Money.

Kivutha Kibwana survived the constant siege by MCAs in Makueni County.

There’s a precedent by Supreme Court on Makueni County.

The MCAs in Makueni County petitioned the Senate for Kivutha Kibwana’s impeachment but Senate declined to impeach him. Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta refused to sign for the dissolution of Makueni County Assembly.

Kivutha Kibwana went to Court for dissolution of Makueni County Government. The matter went all the way to Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court advised all Members of County Assembly to go home. Kivutha Kibwana was re-elected in the General Election and all MCAs lost in the elections.

Nobody in Kenya cares about the manipulation by MCAs and the political class and one would require a tonic of whiskey to ward off majority of sycophants in social media, who are yapping, ululating and singing all day and night about the mediocre political class.

Poverty, illiteracy and fawning sycophancy remain the greatest obstacles to surmount in Kenya to  prevent goons and imbeciles in Counties from determining our intellectual content or collective will as a Nation, which demand an enabling environment of peace , love, respect and dignity so that Kenyans can unlock their potential in the daunting socio-economic and political stratosphere.

Meru County voters are proud of Kawira and have confidence in her and trust her judgement in governing the porous County!

With Hustler Fund, the young Romeos like Baichu and others  are dreaming and living off their sweat with dignity and respect, away from the prying and demeaning eyes of the public.

Right now the Romeos mainly have neither silver nor gold!

“ Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind… . And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind. Nor hath loves mind of any judgement taste; wings, and no eyes, figure unheedy haste.”

Remember the words of Andrew Young, former US envoy…”a politician is someone who approaches national issues with an open mouth and not necessarily with an open mind”.

Punchline: We have a constitutional gap. The removal of a Governor should warrant a fresh mandate or a by-election and not allow a Deputy Governor to take over.

When one thinks about it, the Governor and Deputy Governor are meant to be one…especially when it comes to governance that results to removal, a plausible argument could be made for a by-election

It’s mischievous and a fraud on the electorate for a Deputy Governor to assume an elective office by a minority decision of a partisan Members of County Assembly [MCAs]

As the case may stand, Governor Kawira was an independent and it’s only fair that a fresh mandate be sought from the people of Meru

    1. Fred Ogola. I am an expert in governance and I see many problems being created by the KK government. These are not Meru politics, someone pretty sitted somewhere is fueling and sponsoring this kind of gender inequality. Women should stand with their own lest this country will be governed by crooks and heartless

      1. I am perturbed by the way that village called Meru is handling women in position. We can’t accept that kind of mistreatment here in Colombia thus why we have H.E Francia Marquiz as Deputy President. Doldor Liverman

  1. But she can’t be the only one who’s correct before the all MCAs, she should go study PR and Diplomacy if she lacks emotional intelligence. However leaders should apply all soft skills which aren’t taught in class to manage people
