While taking to his X account on Sunday 6th October, the once active United Democratic Alliance Party Chairman in Machakos County, said that it is a difficult decision to make, but following the current political turmoil, he has no choice but to decline the offer
“I have learnt of my appointment by His Excellency, President William Ruto as the chairman of the Kenya Animal Genetic Resource Centre through a Kenya Gazette notice dated October 3, 2024
However, after soul-searching, extensive consultations and in consideration of the current political climate that threatens the realization of the government’s economic transformation agenda, I have made the difficult decision to respectfully decline this appointment
Munyaka, however, thanked President William Ruto for honouring him in a such position; describing it as respect to his illustrious political career and also championing for the peace and stability of our country
“I thank the Head of State for offering me the opportunity to serve Kenyans in such a capacity.
Thank you again for considering me for this position. I wish you and your administration continued success in leading our country,” Hon. Dr. Victor Munyaka stated
