Deputy President William Ruto has downplayed the newly released polls by TIFA edging him over Azimio’s presidential candidate Raila Odinga

In a quick response, Ruto termed the polls as fake and sponsored to de-popularize his bottom-up economic model which he termed as the best remedy for kenya’s economy to thrive

“Never be persuaded by fake polls that are baseless and sponsored to propagate lies against our agenda to transform this country once and for all,” Ruto said

In the polls, Ruto’s popularity declined taking 39 per cent against Raila Odinga of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition with 42 per cent, an indication that, latters popularity has raised from previous polls which had sat at 39 against 32

In his part, Bungoma Kenya Kwanza gubernatorial candidate Ken Lusaka has called on residents of Kamasielo,Maeni Ward in Kimilili Constituency to elect leaders based on their track records and capability to bring goodies to the people.

“My administration is set to revamp the economy of this county. I will pump funds to the Ministry of Trade and Industrialisation to make sure small-scale traders can thrive in income generating business.

We understand that majority of Bungoma residents depend on farming.We will reduce the cost of farm inputs to Sh 2000-2500.” Lusaka pledged

Lusaka was speaking during a public engagement forum at Kamasielo market,Maeni Ward in Kimilili Constituency.

Kenya Kwanza Presidential flag-bearer William Samoei Ruto,Bungoma Senator Hon. Moses Wetang’ula, Bungoma Woman Representative Catherine Wambilianga, Area MP Didmus Barasa,Kabuchai MP Majimbo Kalasinga and a host of MCAs were present.
