Kitui South MP Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai has continued with her weekly tours to various parts of her constituency to popularise her re-election bid in Athi Ward on Sunday.
She worshipped at Athi Christian Church International, opened two NG-CDF constructed classrooms at Mukuanima Primary School, Mbusyani assistant chief’s office and a block of five classrooms renovated at Mutonya Primary school.
In her routine meet-the-people trips in Kitui South, Dr. Nyamai is engaging her voters, sharing with them her 10 year score-card as their MP and further requesting them to support her re-election bid for a third term into office.
Accompanied by several local political, religious and other opinion leaders in her tour, Dr. Nyamai enumerated some of the key projects she has implemented in Kitui South since 2013.
At the same time, Dr. Nyamai has continued drumming support for the Azimio – One – Kenya Alliance coalition urging Kitui South residents to elect Raila Odinga as the next president of Kenya in the general elections of August 9th.
She said she was convinced the former prime minister was going to win the presidential contest pitting him against DP William Ruto.

“Mheshimiwa has done a commendable job since she became Kitui South MP and she deserves another term in Parliament” Boniface Ndeti a teacher and trade unionist said at Mbusyani.
“We are all in agreement that we are going to give Dr. Rachael Nyamai another term to serve us at the National Assembly and accomplish the remaining work of development in kitui South” Reuben Mwinzi, a senior professional from the ward said at Athi CCI Church.
“She is a woman like us and we are not going to abandon her at the hour of need. I beseech all women to support our own in August” Eunice Muthui from Kalivu said at Mbusyani market.
“If we don’t re-lect this hardworking woman to continue serving us as our MP in August, we people of Kitui South will cry. My people avoid liars and dishonest people who come masquerading as saints to lure you for your votes” Wambua Mwanzia, a 2017 aspirant for the Athi Ward MCA seat said at Mukuanima market.
“I went round with Kenendy Moki in 2017 but we terribly lost to this hardworking lady, today I am fully behind her and she is going to win with a big margin “ Kilyungi Matuku of Kyoani in Ikutha Ward said at Mutonya market
