Section of Members of Parliament from Kitui County have blasted President William Ruto following the remarks that no one can advise him how to move the country foward because he’s a PhD holder
While answering the remarks on Saturday 8th February during the farewell ceremony of late Daniel Kimanzi Muanga at Kwa Vonza, Kitui Central MP Dr Makali Mulu stated that PhD holders don’t talk about it; they show action of development
“There’s no way you can talk about economic growth when you don’t allow people to have personal growth, all salaried Kenyans have borne the brunt of a shrinking payslip, yet you talk about being a PhD holder.
Our education system is in a mess, right now standard one kid is not aware, where he or she will be in 20 years to come because of confused education system,” Makali Mulu remarked while advising their party boss Kalonzo Musyoka to rectify the situation once elected President come 2027
Makali recounted the late Daniel Kimanzi Muanga to have known him through Bishop Masila Musyimi when he was left by first wife, reminding the mourners that jthe late wanted Kalonzo to be the President of this country in 2027-the late was kalonzo’s e aide from 2008 until 20213

Backing the same sentiments, Kitui Woman Representative Irene Kasalu maintained that Kalonzo deserves being the President of Kenya for he’s requisite qualification, expertise and experience to stabilize what she termed already collapsed economy
Kasalu reminded Head of State that Kalonzo helped former President Mwai Kibaki to make Kenya one of the best country in East Africa following strong economy and infrastructure
“We have never had all these messes in education system when Kalonzo was the minister for education, he became vice president and kibaki’s regime came out to be the best economically wise,” she remarked
She hinted that on Tuesday 11th February, she will sit at the majority seat after the High Court declared that Azimio la Umoja Coalition is the Majority Party at the National Assembly
Kasalu pleaded to be the chair of budget and appropriation committee to allocate enough resources for the development of rural roads and water projects as well as health sector
She further reminded people to apply for National IDs so as to register as bona fide voters to elect her for Kitui Gobernatorial position come 2027
Kitui Govenor Dr Julius Malombe
In the same function, Kitui Governor Dr Julius Malombe assured the residents of Kwa Vonza that road connecting Kwavonza and kyusyani town will be commenced and completed before the end of this year
“Kwa Vonza water project will be completed by April 2025 and all health facilities have been completed,” Malombe announced

Malombe urged people to register in large numbers as voters to elect their leader while reaching out to Kalonzo friends to support him in his political rallies for he’s expected to meet the people of Malindi, Kilifi and Mombasa from Sunday 9th February, 2025
