Nakuru Senator Tabitha Karanja discloses that Kihika is using power to attempt to grab the colonial Hospital which renders best services
She claimed that all other best performing Hospitals in Nakuru have already minimised their services following uncertainties under the leadership of Governor Susan Kihiki
Nakuru Senator Tabitha Keroche is now calling President William Ruto to intervene on the tussle surrounding War Memorial Hospital which Governor Susan Kihiki is adversely mentioned in a grabbing scheme.
Addressing journalists at Parliament Buildings on Friday 2nd February, Keroche warned Kihika to stop dragging the name of President in her botched plan to illegally take over of the ownership of the colonial Hospital which dates back in 1924
According to Keroche, after the expiry of the leasing period in 2021, the management applied for renewal which was granted for another 50 years since 2021
The controversy started escalating in April 2023 when Nakuru county government complained to the Nakuru registrar who attempted to issue a notice seeking cancellation of the renewal of their title deed
“What kind of inhuman that we are putting patients into, we lost two patients after the hired goons disrupted services at the facility chasing away nurses and doctors.
Over 300 nurses and doctors are fearing to report to work leaving patients in danger since they can’t peacefully attend them. Are we leaving in Kenya or we have moved to hell,” Tabitha Karanja charged bitterly
She described the attempted possession of War Memorial Hospital by Governor Kihiki by force using hired goons as illegal, ill and ungodly that should be condemned with the strangest terms possible
“What picture are we portraying to the people of Nakuru who voted us (ladies) whole heartedly with all love and admiration.
Today, we start grabbing land, causing mayhem, orchestrating job losses! As long as am the Senator, it will not happen under my watch,” she underlined
