Speaking on Monday 2nd May, at UDA’s National Chairman Johnstone Muthama’s home in Machakos, Deputy President William Ruto’s renegades have appealed on Musyoka to quit from supporting Odinga and instead join them
“Denying Kalonzo Musyoka to eulogize his former boss late President Mwai Kibaki at Othaya means those two people have no business with you.
“But, it should be understood, that you deputised Kibaki for five years and that will never be out of our minds, Kikuyu people are very friendly with Kambas,” Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua pointed.
In a swift and boiled reactions, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen said it was a sign of betrayal by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM chief Raila Odinga to omit Kalonzo Musyoka’s name from the list of Kibaki’s State funeral’s speakers.
Muthama, who was being condoled after losing his daughter Janet Muthama after long illness, could not control his anger, painstakingly, telling Kalonzo to join the winning team that is led by DP William Ruto
“You have been the vice president of this country for five years, you are not a small person, you are our leader in Ukambani, why would some people joke around with our kingpin?
“The mistreatment and alienation we witnessed in State Funeral at Nyayo stadium and State burial at Othaya is because you don’t have someone to fight for you at the decision making table, those you thought, left you long time ago,” Fearless Muthama stated
Taking into his Facebook account, controversial supreme court judge Ahmednasir Abdullahi, alias Grand Mulle, adviced Kalonzo not to appear before the Azimio la Umoja panel seeking the suitable candidate for the position of Raila’s running mate
“It’s stupidity for Suna East MP Junet Mohammed to interrogate his senior Kalonzo Musyoka on Deputy President’s slot, so ironical and sarcastic,” He posted
