Wiper fraternity has continued to mount pressure to the Azimio presidential hopeful Raila Odinga over his running mate position stalemate
Our investigative desk at safinews.co.ke, has reliably been informed that, the Wiper members of parliament will exit from Azimio before the end of this week
Sources which sought anonymity added that, they have been looking for wise legal counsel before making pronouncement should Kalonzo is not chosen as running mate cum Deputy President if Raila wins
“We have come to understand that our leader was duped, we shall not take it lightly, we better abstain the presidential ballot instead of being used and dumped,”. Makueni MP Dan Maanzo observed.

This comes one day after Raila Odinga skipped Kalonzo Musyoka’s meeting yesterday [Sunday] at Wote, Unoa ground and instead attended luncheon for Azimio secretariat at serena hotel
Kieni Member of Parliament Kanini Kega has told safinews.co.ke, that the seat had been reserved for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Mt Kenya especially from Murang’a county.
Today [Monday] Kalonzo dogged the panel interviewing the possible running mate for Raila Odinga, the seven-member team interviewed five candidates including Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho
Others interviewed are Martha Karua of Narc-K, Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Murang’a W/Rep Sabina Chege and Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui
The panel have instead listed Kalonzo Musyoka to appear tomorrow alongside Kitui Governor Kaluki Ngilu, former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth and Agriculture CS Peter Munya
But Kalonzo’s itinerary is tight roped as he will be taking a flight to Juba by tomorrow and later in the evening proceed to Democratic Republic of Congo as he reflects to exit the Azimio coalition agreement if he will not be Raila’s running mate
