Wiper Democratic Party legal counsel have hinted that their leader Kalonzo Musyoka will accept the offer made by Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga, should the agreement be captured in the coalition document
According to Makueni Senator who is also Wiper’s gubernatorial aspirant Mutula Kilonzo Jnr has confirmed rumours to safinews.co.ke admitting that the condition is all about trust.
“You know what my friend, what our leader was promised on Monday is hot air. It is not captured anywhere. How can we trust that?”

His sentiments have also been echoed by Borabu MP Ben Momanyi who is parliamentary service commissioner representing Wiper Party, saying that they don’t intend to leave Azimio, and that Kalonzo might ultimately rejoin Raila.
“The Wiper party is still in Azimio Coalition Party. It cannot withdraw as of now, the current situation notwithstanding. Everything will be ironed out amicably. Let’s focus on August 9 poll,” he said.
All possible indicators is that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka might after all take the big offer being given to him by ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Odinga on Monday promised to make the former Vice President his Chief Cabinet Minister, an equivalent of the Prime Minister, should he form next government.
However, Kalonzo devalued the position, angrily for not being named running mate and launched his bid instead, his insiders have now given an image of a man keen on returning to Azimio.
His condition, nevertheless, is that the Azimio Coalition agreement be amended to include the new position, apparently to avoid being short changed afterwards.
The ongoing talks, it is reported, are why Kalonzo, despite earlier threatening to move to court to seek Wiper’s exit from Azimio, is yet to do the same.

If things go well for Raila, then Kalonzo could be seen dropping his presidential bid and his running mate Andrew Sunkuli to work again under Mr Odinga.
Now this would be a major blow to the rival camp led by Deputy President William Ruto, whose members have been mocking Raila for losing Kalonzo, it will be a turf battle field.
