Former Vice President Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has now distanced himself from the delays in reconstituting the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC and said the UDA government is delaying it by using tactics to remove the name of Koki Muli from the list.
Dr Musyoka was speaking at the Calvary Chosen Church in Thika, Kiambu County this afternoon. Earlier, Dr Musyoka and the People’s Team had attended Sunday service at PCEA Nguthuru Parish – ELIM Church in Kenol, Murang’a County.
Dr Musyoka said their is a Kiambu High Court judge who is working for UDA government and trying to discourage every effort of their gains in the judiciary also controlling everything against the government
Dr Koki was proposed by the minority party having garnered few votes against Dr Kyalo Muli who is reported to have won with more votes from the minority side to represent in the IEBC selection panel
But according to political pundits, including wiper brigades, Kyalo Muli is a proxy of the ruling party and was tactically ‘imposed’ to favour the government when the said selection panel of the IEBC will be making high profile decisions
Former Kiambu County Governor Ferdinand Waititu and former MPs Peter Mwathi and Jude Jomo, all agreed they want coalition that will remove president Ruto from power and wondered why he is not ready to put IEBC in place as they sited unpreparedness of the government or unwillingness to leaf power come 2027.
They said they are ready to unite with the same purpose so long as they remove Ruto from power They said former president Uhuru Kenyatta is the leader of Mount Kenya and going forward they will be saying as it is.
