Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua says he would now be at Kamiti Maximum Prison of President William Ruto lost to his political rival Azimio’s leader Raila Odinga
Gachagua said that a team of prosecution had been lined up against him to serve jail term had they would have lost in last year’s August polls
“I would be serving my fifth month if Ruto lost to Raila, all these people would be around, even to those who come at DP’s Karen home, would either be coming to visit me at Kamiti Maximum Prison,” Gachagua jokingly said
He further revealed that, would wish to offer congratulatory mesaages and award former President Uhuru Kenyatta for persecuting them
“When President Uhuru Kenyatta will get time to be composed and give me an audience, I will definitely thank him for persecuting me and President William Ruto. If it were not for such mistreatment by the previous regime, right now, we would have been voted by Kenyans,” He added
Gachagua spoke during the launch of Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale’s book, entitled “For the Record’ explicit of power struggles, politics, economy and polemics
