Kitui Residents endorses Former CS Peninah Malonza to succeed Governor Malombe in 2027

Her gubernatorial candidacy is expected to cause uncertainties to long standing politician

She brings an embodiment of good charisma in serving the disadvantaged and a niche in attracting international entities

Section of Kitui Residents have encouraged Former Cabinet Secretary Peninah Malonza to run for the county’s top seat now that her service delivery to humanity has been tried and tested across the forty seven countries and East African Community 

Malonza who has remained calm and advancing the Kenya Kwanza Administration’s strategic policies and the governance structures, even after she was sacked by President William Ruto on July during Cabinet’s reshuffling 

Her loyalty to the current regime may play bigger role in the gubernatorial race given that all other formidable candidates comes from the dominant Wiper Democratic Party led by Kalonzo Musyoka  

While speaking at an event in Mwingi West, Kitui county, the atmosphere was electric. The crowd, united in their admiration and support, erupted in a powerful, resounding chorus: 

“Governor! Governor! Governor!” The chants filled the air, as thousands of voices echoed the same message—“Run for Governor in 2027″ From every corner, the people of Kitui stood together, making it clear they believed in her leadership.

Their unified call left no doubt that they wanted her to be their champion, urging her to take up the mantle and lead them into a brighter future.

In the past few days after the sacking, Malonza has remained steadfast on improving the lives of people by donating water tanks, chicks, wheelchairs to differently abled persons as well as attending communal events helping where necessary 

Her ambitions to succeed Governor Julius Malombe now forms the broader competitive race with other contestants including long serving Kitui Central MP Dr Makali Mulu who has in the past two years been popularizing his candidature to lead the county 

Kitui’s Senator Enoch Wambua and a close ally to Wiper Democratic Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has also been on the race, despite competitiveness  from another Kalonzo’s ally Dr Irene Kasalu who is the county’s Women Representative, given the fact that she’s a woman and the party controls huge vote block 

Former Kitui governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu is also eyeing the seat together with Nicholas Mulila who doubles up as town’s commandeer
