Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has now told the residents of Embakasi that the Gerson Kirima doesn’t owm Njiru farm and they should stay put
Owino said the land belonged to Mr Dominica Dimase who’s an Italian and they have brought their son Badado Dimase as heir
Owino has challenged the Kirima’s family to produce original documents of the title and who sold the land to their father
The vocal legislator from opposition hinted that there are certain powerful individuals within the government who are trying to grab the contested land through mass eviction but he will face them head-on
He assured his over 10,000 residents living in the protracted land where Kirima’s family have claimed of inheritance that he will not let it go unless ruled otherwise by the court
“I want to challenge the judge who issued the ownership of this land to the family of Kirima, to tell public where did he get those documents, where are the transactions documents or evidence showing the late Kirima bought from an Italian farmer,” he questioned
Owino told the Kirima’s offspring or anymy other person alleging that the land belongs to the late to come meet him at the court with the relevant documents
