
Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki has poked holes on opposition leaders for continuous politicking without investing much time on serving Kenyans and supporting social empowerment programs
While speaking on Friday 6th June at Machakos town on the sidelines of Eastern Trade Fair at Machakos Show Ground, Kithure challenged opposition leaders that they risk being voted out for they don’t have development track record which they can convince electorates
“We have two and half years remaining to serve wananchi, you can see have spoken for more than thirty minutes but am not attacking anyone because am very clear on what we’re doing as government, wale wanazunguka wakiongea siasa wanafaa kujua wakati bado wa kampeni na watatuoata, ” kithure scoffed to opposition

Kithure warned opposition leaders that sowing seeds of division and
hate speech will make them irrelevant and render them being voted out in 2027 since they should build on positive criticism
Development in Machakos
The second in command pledged construction of a fourteen modern markets led by the one at the heart of Machakos town that will cost a staggering Ksh 400 million and another one at Matuu Market costing Ksh 350 million, caged with a lactating room for mothers to breast feed their kids while doing businesses
Kithure also donated women’s saccos empowerment with a whooping Ksh 500,000 on top of Ksh 5 million which President William Ruto had donated
Machakos Township MP Caleb Mule donated Ksh 1,000,000 million followed by Mavoko MP Patrick Makau of Wiper who send his Ksh 200,000 while over twenty Members of County Assembly allied to UDA donated Ksh 20,000 each
