The Cabinet Secretary (CS) for the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife, and Heritage, Hon. Peninah Malonza, has today launched the concept for the wildlife conservation roundtable, at the Serena hotel, Nairobi.

Speaking during the function, the CS noted that wildlife resources are without a shadow of doubt a critical component of our biodiversity conservation and national heritage for posterity.

“The diversity of the wildlife resources and their habitats are expensive to protect and conserve due to the enormous resources required. This proposed platform for stakeholders’ engagement therefore presents an opportunity for an all-inclusive and consultative approach to unlock the economic and social potentials of the wildlife sector,” she said.
