Dagorret North Parliamentary aspirant Beatrice Elachi preaches the gospel of tolerance in political landscape


Speaking on Wednesday 30th March, former Nairobi county assembly speaker said God can not be happy when people are having internal conflicts and sabotaging development agendas 


“Impeachment can be sort of inciting leaders not to implement some projects or  policies,pass certain motion or bills, as a result, you find no progress nor development,” Elachi noted


Elachi who resigned from Nairobi county assembly speaker’s position is currently eyeing Dagorret North parliamentary seat under Azimio la Umoja which is led by presidential candidate Raila Odinga 


She called on political parties to formulate some policies that will ensure parties are always engaged in certain activities at the grassroot levels 


“We need to tell our people that we don’t fight or become enemies at parliament because of different political formations, in fact we exist cohesively and peacefully,” She added.


She further appealed youths and all supporters not to be used in causing mayhem this time of electioneering campaigns before, during and after general election
