Kenyan Musician Kevin Kioko alias Bahati has broken down in tears after he was demanded to step down from Mathare Constituency Parliamentary seat in favour of incumbent Anthony Oluoch
Addressing Journalists on Monday 25th April, Bahati maintained that he respects President Uhuru Kenyatta and Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga but they should allow him to contest the seat un-objectively
“I respect my President and Honourable Raila Amolo Odinga, but please, give the youths of this country a chance.
“I know there’s zoning of Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya alliance, and Mathare is placed under ODM zone area, but for this one, please give the youths of this country a chance,” Bahati spoke crying endlessly
The youthful younger politician who has trounced into dirty politics says the certificate he secured from Jubilee Party is not his but for the majority of youths in Mathare constituency who have been denied a chance to elect one of their own
Immediately after issuing the press to kenyans, hundreds of his supporters staged demonstrations and blocked vehicles from traversing Mathare roads
Mathare Constituency has in the past been imposed of candidates from different areas of Nairobi city who end up leading them
Former Mathare Member of Parliament Stephen Kariuki was the son to Bishop Margaret Wanjiru of Jesus is Alive Ministries and is believed was not from the area,the incumbent too.
