Asumbi Teachers’ Training College bus has been involved in a minor accident at Kolol along the Iten-Kabarnet road on Tuesday 28th January, minutes past 9 AM. Luckily, no injuries were reported, though the incident caused panic among the passengers.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver lost control while trying to avoid an oncoming vehicle on the winding and hilly stretch of the road.
The bus veered slightly off the road but came to a stop without rolling over. Standbies and local residents rushed to the scene to assist the students, who were visibly shaken but unharmed.

Authorities have since visited the scene to assess the situation. Preliminary reports indicate that slippery road conditions and the narrow nature of the route may have contributed to the incident.
The students were reportedly en route for an academic trip when the accident occurred. Asumbi TTC is yet to issue an official statement regarding the matter.
